    If you're driving from Gwangju, take the Honam Expressway (Expressway 1) towards Mokpo. After approximately 30 km, take the exit for Damyang (Exit 28). Follow the signs for Damyang and continue on Route 29 for about 10 km until you reach Damyang-gun. Once in Damyang, follow local signs to Hakseon-ri in Gasamunhak-myeon. Gwangjuho, located in Hakseon-ri, will be indicated on local maps.

    From Gwangju, head to the Gwangju Bus Terminal. There are frequent buses to Damyang that take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Damyang Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus towards Hakseon-ri. Buses run approximately every hour, and the ride will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to have some Korean won for the bus fare.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    You can take the KTX or Mugunghwa train from Gwangju Songjeong Station to Damyang Station. The KTX is faster, taking about 20 minutes, while the Mugunghwa takes about 40 minutes. From Damyang Station, you will need to take a taxi or a local bus to reach Hakseon-ri. The taxi ride will take around 15 minutes, and you should expect to pay approximately 10,000 KRW.
