Experience Cheonggyecheon Stream

Getting There

  • Subway

    Take Line 1 (the Blue Line) to Jongno 3-ga Station. Use Exit 5. Once you exit, walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach Cheonggyecheon Stream. You will see the stream on your right.

  • Subway

    Take Line 5 (the Purple Line) to Gwanghwamun Station. Use Exit 2, then walk straight towards the Gwanghwamun Gate. Continue walking straight until you reach the stream. It will be approximately a 15-minute walk.

  • Bus

    Take Bus 104, 105, or 162 and get off at Cheonggyecheon Stream (청계천). The bus stop is located directly next to the stream, where you can easily access the walking paths along the water.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Dongdaemun area, simply walk towards the Cheonggyecheon Stream. Head west on Cheonggyecheon-ro for about 1 kilometer. You will arrive at the stream, which runs through the heart of the city.
