Getting There

Subway
Start your journey by taking the Seoul Subway Line 4 (the light blue line) to Myeongdong Station. After arriving at Myeongdong Station, take Exit 3. Once you exit, walk straight until you reach the intersection. From there, take a right and start walking towards Namsan Park. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Continue your walk towards Namsan Park. You will see signs directing you to the Namsan Cable Car station. Follow the signs and the path leading up the hill. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the city. The path will eventually lead you to the cable car station. The hike itself is about 20 minutes if you prefer to walk instead of taking the cable car.

If you choose to take the cable car, purchase a ticket at the station. The cable car ride will take about 5 minutes and provides stunning views of the city. Once you reach the top, you will find signage directing you to Namsan Palgakjeong (Octagonal Pavilion). Follow the signs for a short 5-minute walk to the pavilion.
