Walking

If you are already in the Hongdae area, the easiest way to get to the Hongdae Free Market is by walking. Start at Hongik University Station (Exit 9). From the exit, head straight along Wausan-ro. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Wausan-ro 21-gil. Turn left onto Wausan-ro 21-gil. The Hongdae Free Market will be on your right at 19-3 Wausan-ro 21-gil. Look for the vibrant outdoor stalls and local artists displaying their work.
Public Transportation

If you are further away in the Hongdae area, you can take a bus to get closer to the Hongdae Free Market. Find a nearby bus stop and take bus number 5712 or 7737. Alight at the 'Hongdae' stop. From there, walk towards Wausan-ro. Turn right onto Wausan-ro and continue straight until you reach Wausan-ro 21-gil. Turn left, and you will see the market on your right. Bus fare is approximately 1,250 KRW.
