If you are already in the Hongdae area, the best way to reach Hongdae Street is to walk. Start by heading towards Eoulmadang-ro. Depending on your starting point, you might find it easiest to ask locals for directions to Eoulmadang-ro, as it is a well-known street. Once you reach Eoulmadang-ro, walk towards the number 102, which is where Hongdae Street is located. The area is lively, filled with shops and cafes, making for an enjoyable stroll.

If you are further away from the main attractions in Hongdae, you can take the subway. Head to Hongik University Station (Line 2, the Green Line). Once you exit the station, take Exit 9. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Eoulmadang-ro. The street will be on your left side. This option is convenient and the cost of the subway ride is around 1,250 KRW (about $1 USD).

You can also take a public bus to reach Hongdae. Look for buses that stop near Hongik University Station. Common bus numbers include 7016, 7737, and 6016. Once you get off at the Hongik University stop, walk towards Eoulmadang-ro. The bus fare is approximately 1,200 KRW (about $1 USD).
