From central Gwandong Region, take the Gyeongbu Expressway (E1) heading towards Seoul. Follow signs for the Dongdaemun area and exit towards Cheonggye Plaza. If you're traveling by subway, locate the nearest station and make your way to Line 2 (the Green Line). Transfer at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station and switch to Line 5 (the Purple Line). Get off at Cheonggye Plaza Station. The plaza is a short walking distance from the station, taking about 5-10 minutes. The subway fare is approximately 1,250 KRW.

For bus travel, find a nearby bus stop and take one of the buses that route towards Jongno District. Look for buses 104, 105, 150, or 162, which stop a short walk from Cheonggye Plaza.
