Getting There

  • Subway

    Take Line 5 (the Purple Line) from your nearest station. If you are starting from Seoul Station, board the subway towards Macheon Station. After 6 stops, get off at Dongnimmun Station. Use Exit 2. Once you exit, walk straight for about 300 meters. You will see Dongnimmun Arch (Independence Gate) on your left.

    Find the nearest bus stop and take either Bus 7011 or Bus 173. Get off at the 'Dongnimmun' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk about 100 meters towards the east, and you will see Dongnimmun Arch (Independence Gate).
