Experience Bukchon Hanok Village

Getting There

  • Walking

    From Myeong-dong Station (Line 4), take Exit 6. Once you exit, walk straight towards the main street (Toegye-ro) and turn left. Continue walking for about 600 meters until you reach Samcheong-dong Road. Turn right onto Samcheong-dong Road and walk for approximately 10 minutes. You will see signs leading you to Bukchon Hanok Village on your left. The entrance is at Gyedong-gil, Jongno District.

  • Subway

    From Myeong-dong Station (Line 4), take the subway towards Dongdaemun Station. Change at Dongdaemun Station to Line 1 and head towards Jonggak Station. At Jonggak Station, transfer to Line 3 and get off at Anguk Station. Use Exit 2, and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Bukchon Hanok Village. The village is located at Gyedong-gil, Jongno District.

  • Bus

    From Myeong-dong, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 7022. Get off at the 'Gyeongbokgung Palace' bus stop. From there, walk towards the palace, and then take a right onto the street leading to Bukchon Hanok Village. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the village. Please note that the bus fare will cost around 1,250 KRW.
