Subway
From Suwon Station, take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Seoul. After about 30 minutes, get off at Jonggak Station. Exit the station via Exit 3. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with the large road (Sejong-daero). Cross the road and continue walking straight for another 10 minutes until you see Gwanghwamun Gate on your left.

Bus
From Suwon Station, head to the bus terminal located outside the station. Look for buses heading to Seoul (check for bus numbers 3000, 5002 or 5500). The ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Get off at Gwanghwamun Station, which is just a short walk from Gwanghwamun Gate. After exiting the bus, walk towards the large square and you will see Gwanghwamun Gate directly ahead.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Suwon. Simply tell the driver 'Gwanghwamun Gate' or show them the address: '12 Hyoja-ro, Jongno District, Seoul.' The drive will take around 40 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to have small bills or a translation app handy, as not all drivers may speak English.
