If you are driving from central Yeongdong, head east on National Route 5 toward Wonju. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Sogeumsan-gil in Jijeong-myeon. Follow Sogeumsan-gil for about 8 km until you reach Ganhyeon Tourist Area, which will be on your right. Ensure to check for parking availability upon arrival.

To reach Ganhyeon Tourist Area using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Yeongdong Bus Terminal to Wonju. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and costs around 5,000 KRW. Once you arrive at Wonju Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading towards Jijeong-myeon. Look for buses that stop at Sogeumsan-gil. This leg of the journey may take an additional 30 minutes. Once you get off at the nearest stop, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Ganhyeon Tourist Area.
