Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the Yeongnam Region, get on the Gyeongbu Expressway (Expressway 1) heading north towards Seoul. Continue on the expressway for about 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic. Once you approach Seoul, follow the signs for 'Jongno' and exit onto Sejong-daero. From Sejong-daero, merge onto Cheongwadae-ro, where the Blue House is located at 1 Cheongwadae-ro, Jongno District. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to look for parking options in the vicinity.

  • Public Transportation (Train)

    From any major city in the Yeongnam Region, take a KTX (Korea Train Express) train to Seoul Station. The journey typically takes around 2 to 3 hours. Upon arriving at Seoul Station, transfer to Line 4 of the Seoul Metro (the blue line) towards Danggogae. Get off at Gyeongbokgung Station and use Exit 2. From Exit 2, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Blue House. Follow the signs towards the Gyeongbokgung Palace, and then head west to reach 1 Cheongwadae-ro.
