From any central location in Barcelona, make your way to the nearest Renfe train station. The most common stations are Plaça de Catalunya or Arc de Triomf. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Montgat. The train to Montgat will take approximately 30 minutes. Trains run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. Upon arriving at Montgat station, exit the station and head towards the beach by following the signs. You will need to walk about 15 minutes to reach Playa de Montgat Nord. Head straight down Carrer Riera d'en Font, then turn right onto Camí Ral which leads directly to the beach.

Metro and Train
Start at any metro station in Barcelona and take Line 1 (Red Line) towards Fondo. Change at the 'Plaça de Catalunya' station to Line 3 (Green Line) towards Trinitat Nova. Get off at 'Arc de Triomf' and follow the signs to the Renfe train station (about 5 minutes walk). Purchase a ticket to Montgat and board the train. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Montgat station, exit and walk towards the beach, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow Carrer Riera d'en Font and then turn right onto Camí Ral to reach Playa de Montgat Nord.

Take the TMB bus line H12 from various points in Barcelona. Check the nearest bus stop for the H12 line. Ride the bus towards Montgat and get off at the 'Montgat' stop. The beach is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head down Carrer Riera d'en Font and turn right onto Camí Ral to arrive at Playa de Montgat Nord.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Barcelona. From the city center, you can follow the coastal bike path along the Mediterranean Sea. The ride to Playa de Montgat Nord is approximately 12 km and takes about 40-50 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the route. Once you arrive, park your bicycle in designated bike racks near the beach.
