Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Toledo, take the A-42 highway towards Madrid. After approximately 80 km, take the exit onto the M-30 ring road towards the city center. Follow signs for Moncloa and exit at Parque del Oeste. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that it may incur a cost depending on the time you stay.

• Public Transportation - Train

  From any major city in Castile-La Mancha, such as Toledo or Ciudad Real, take a train to Madrid Atocha station. Once you arrive at Atocha, transfer to Line 1 of the Metro towards Pinar de Chamartín. Get off at the Moncloa station. From Moncloa, it is a short 10-minute walk to Parque del Oeste where the Ginkgo Biloba tree is located.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can also take a long-distance bus from various cities in Castile-La Mancha to Madrid Estación Sur or Avenida de América bus stations. From either station, take Metro Line 6 (the circular line) towards Cuatro Caminos, and then transfer to Line 3 towards Villaverde Alto at the Moncloa station. It's a 10-minute walk from there to Parque del Oeste.

• Walking

  Once you arrive at Parque del Oeste, navigate through the park to find the Ginkgo Biloba tree. The park is well signposted, and the tree is located in a prominent area, making it easy to locate.
