Getting There

Bus
From Girona, head to the main bus station, Estació d'Autobusos de Girona, located at Carrer de la Concordia, 1. You can walk there from the city center in about 15 minutes. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket for the bus to Palamós. Buses run approximately every hour. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Disembark at the Palamós bus station.

After arriving at the Palamós bus station, exit the station and head south on Carrer de la Mare de Déu de la Salut. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Carrer del Mar. Turn left onto Carrer del Mar and walk towards the beach. Follow the path that leads you to Platja de Castell, which is about a 30-minute walk from the Palamós bus station.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Girona. After renting a bike, cycle towards Palamós via the GI-660 road.
