From the Girona city center, head to the main bus station located near the Plaça Espanya. Look for the bus company 'Sagalés' which operates services to various coastal destinations. Purchase a ticket for the bus heading to 'Platja d'Aro' or 'Palamós'. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary. Get off at the stop named 'El Castell' or 'Cala de El Castell'. From there, it's a short walk down to Playa El Castell.

Take a train from Girona Estació to the nearby town of Caldes de Malavella. Trains run regularly throughout the day and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Caldes de Malavella, exit the train station and head to the bus stop right outside. Board the bus towards 'Palamós' and ask the driver to let you off at 'El Castell'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking, it’s a short walk to the beach.
