Train
If you are in central Madrid, start by heading to Atocha Train Station. From there, take the Cercanías Renfe line C2 towards Alcalá de Henares. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the Alcalá de Henares station. Once you exit the station, head north on Calle de la Estación, then turn left onto Calle de la Cueva. Continue straight until you reach Plaza Prta de Madrid, where the landmark is located.

From the central area of Madrid, you can catch the bus number 223 from Estación de Autobuses de Méndez Álvaro to Alcalá de Henares. The bus ride takes about an hour. Get off at the 'Alcalá de Henares' stop. Once you disembark, head towards Plaza Prta de Madrid, which is a short 10-minute walk straight down Calle Mayor until you reach the plaza.

Metro and Train
Begin your journey by taking the Metro Line 5 from any central station towards Casa de Campo. Transfer at the Cuatro Caminos station to Line 1 (light blue) towards Valdecarros. Get off at the Atocha station. From Atocha, take the Cercanías Renfe line C2 towards Alcalá de Henares. After about 40 minutes, disembark at Alcalá de Henares station and follow the walking directions to Plaza Prta de Madrid.
