If you are near a metro station, take Line 5 (green line) towards Casa de Campo. Change at 'Opera' station. Once at Opera, follow the signs for the Royal Palace, which is just a short 5-minute walk. Exit the station and walk towards the Plaza de Oriente, and you will see the Royal Palace directly ahead.

You can take bus number 3 or 25 to get close to the Royal Palace. Get off at the stop called 'Opera' or 'Plaza de Oriente.' From there, it's just a short walk to the palace. As you exit the bus, head towards the large square and you will see the Royal Palace in front of you.

Walking
If you are already in the Centro area, you can easily walk to the Royal Palace. Start at Plaza Mayor and walk towards Calle Mayor until you reach Plaza de Oriente. The Royal Palace will be on your left as you walk along the plaza. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Plaza Mayor.

Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi or use a rideshare app. Just tell the driver you want to go to 'Palacio Real de Madrid', and they will take you directly there. The taxi stand is available at many locations around the city, or you can request a ride from your current location.
