    From the Galle Fort, head southeast on Hospital Street towards the Galle Railway Station. Once you reach the station, continue straight onto the Colombo Road (A2). Walk approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Mahamodara Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the road as it curves slightly to the left. After crossing the bridge, you will see Mahamodara Lake on your right side. The walk should take about 25-30 minutes.
