Tuk-tuk
From Hikkaduwa, head towards the main road (Galle Road). You can easily find a tuk-tuk by waving your hand or asking at your hotel or a nearby shop. Once you are in the tuk-tuk, tell the driver you want to go to Secret Beach in Mirissa. The journey will take about 30 minutes. The driver will take you directly to the beach entrance, where you can enjoy the sandy shores.

To reach Secret Beach in Mirissa using public transport, walk to the main bus station in Hikkaduwa. Look for a bus heading towards Matara; these buses frequently stop along Galle Road. When you board the bus, confirm with the conductor that the bus will pass through Mirissa. After about 45 minutes, ask the conductor to drop you off at the Mirissa junction. From there, walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the coast, following signs for Secret Beach. The walk will take about 15-20 minutes.

If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Hikkaduwa. Head towards Galle Road and start your ride south towards Mirissa. The route is approximately 10 kilometers and takes about 40-50 minutes. Be sure to follow the main road and watch out for traffic. Upon reaching Mirissa, ask locals for directions to Secret Beach, which is a short ride away from the main area.
