If you are already in Horton Plains National Park, the best way to reach Single Tree Hill is by walking. From the main entrance of the park, head towards the main trail that leads to the various scenic points. Follow the trail markers towards the direction of the 'Baker's Falls' and continue on the path. After about 2 km, you will see a sign pointing to Single Tree Hill on your right. Follow this path, which is well-marked, and walk for another 1 km until you reach the hill. The walk typically takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace.

If you are driving, park your vehicle at the designated parking area near the entrance of Horton Plains National Park. From there, you will need to walk as vehicles are not allowed on the trails. Follow the same walking instructions provided above to reach Single Tree Hill. Make sure to check for any parking fees at the entrance, which typically costs around 2,000 LKR per vehicle.

If you are relying on public transportation, take a bus to Nuwara Eliya. From Nuwara Eliya, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a taxi to the entrance of Horton Plains National Park. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost around 1,500-2,000 LKR. Once at the park entrance, follow the walking instructions to reach Single Tree Hill.
