Getting There

  • Car

    From Horton Plains National Park, drive towards the Nuwara Eliya town. Head north on the A7 road for approximately 20 kilometers. Follow the signs for Gregory Park. You will see the entrance to Gregory Park on your right side, located along the Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Highway (XQ4G+PX6). Make sure to look for parking areas nearby, as parking fees may apply.

  • Public Transportation

    From Horton Plains National Park, you can take a local bus to Nuwara Eliya. Buses are available from the entrance of the park. Once you reach Nuwara Eliya, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to Gregory Park, which is approximately 2 kilometers from the bus station. The tuk-tuk fare may range from 200 to 400 LKR depending on your negotiation skills.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Nuwara Eliya and wish to walk to Gregory Park, head east on the Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Highway (A5). The park is around a 30-minute walk from the town center. Keep an eye out for pedestrians and traffic as this road can be busy.
