Getting There

    From the center of Kandy, head to the Kandy Clock Tower, which is a well-known landmark. From the Clock Tower, walk along Dalada Veediya (Temple of the Tooth Road) towards the Temple of the Tooth. Continue straight past the Temple and follow the road as it curves left. You will come to a junction with a large roundabout. Take the first exit onto the B364 road. Continue straight along this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass a few shops and local houses. Keep an eye out for a sign indicating 'Hindagala Rajamaha Viharaya' on your left. The temple is located just off this road. Follow the path that leads up to the temple entrance.

    From your location in Kandy, find a tuk-tuk stand or flag down a tuk-tuk. Ask the driver to take you to 'Hindagala Rajamaha Viharaya' or mention 'B364 road near Hindagala'.
