Continue walking along the lake until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto D.S. Senanayake Veediya. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach a bus stop near the Kandy Clock Tower.

From the Kandy Clock Tower bus stop, take the bus heading towards Udunuwara. The bus fare is quite affordable. Inform the conductor that you are heading to Lankathilaka Vihara. The bus will take you through scenic views of the surrounding hills. Get off at Lankathilaka Junction stop, which is the closest stop to your destination.

After getting off at Lankathilaka Junction, walk along the Lankathilaka Vihara Road. Follow the signs that indicate the direction to Lankathilaka Vihara.
