From the Kandy city centre, head to the Kandy Bus Station located near the Kandy Clock Tower. Take a bus heading towards Muruthalawa or Gampola. The bus fare is usually affordable, around 50-100 LKR. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Inform the bus conductor that you are going to Nelligala, and they will let you know when to get off.

Once you get off at the Nelligala stop, you will be on Nelligala Road. From there, it's about a 1.5 km walk to the Nelligala International Buddhist Centre. Follow Nelligala Road straight ahead. The path is scenic, but be prepared for an uphill trek. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the temple. You will eventually reach the entrance of the Nelligala International Buddhist Centre.
