If you are driving, you can start your journey from Kilinochchi town. Head north on A9 road for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction at Nallur. Turn right onto Jaffna-Point Pedro Road (A35) and continue for about 5 km. The Poothathamby Arch will be on your left. There is no parking fee, but be mindful of local traffic rules.

From Kilinochchi town, you can take a local bus heading towards Jaffna. Buses are available frequently and the fare is usually around LKR 100. Get off at Nallur and then catch a tuk-tuk to Poothathamby Arch, which should cost around LKR 200. The Arch is approximately 5 km from Nallur, and the tuk-tuk ride will take about 10 minutes.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Kilinochchi District. Negotiate a fare, which should generally range from LKR 500 to LKR 800 depending on your pickup point. The driver will take you directly to Poothathamby Arch, which is located on Jaffna-Point Pedro Road.
