If you're traveling by car, head towards the Main Street in Gurunagar. From Kilinochchi, take the A9 highway heading south towards Jaffna. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit towards Gurunagar. Continue straight on Bankshall Street until you reach Main Street. St. James the Great Church will be on your left. Parking is available along the street.

For public transportation, you can catch a bus from Kilinochchi to Jaffna. Buses frequently depart from the Kilinochchi bus stand. Once you arrive at the Jaffna bus terminal, you can take a local bus or a tuk-tuk to Gurunagar. The local buses will have signs indicating Gurunagar or Main Street. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Upon reaching Gurunagar, ask the driver to drop you off at Main Street, near St. James the Great Church.
