    From the Matara bus station, head east on Matara Road (A2) towards the city center. Walk for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Hospital Road. Turn left onto Hospital Road and continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs indicating the way to Weherahena. You will pass local shops and eateries, which can be good spots for refreshments. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a sign directing you to Weherahena Temple.
