Walking
If you are in the central area of Mirissa, start by heading east towards the main road, Galle-Matara Highway (A2). From there, walk south along the highway. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Dikwella. Continue walking along the highway for another 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Beliatta Road. Turn left onto Beliatta Road. Wewurukannala Buduraja Maha Viharaya will be located on your left side after about 1 kilometer, easily identifiable by its large entrance.

From any location in Mirissa, find a tuk-tuk driver (they are usually available near the beach and main roads). Tell the driver you want to go to Wewurukannala Buduraja Maha Viharaya in Dikwella. The ride typically takes around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the temple's entrance, which is located on Beliatta Road.

Public Bus
Head to the nearest bus stop on the Galle-Matara Highway (A2). Look for a bus heading towards Dikwella. Once you board the bus, inform the conductor that you are going to Wewurukannala Buduraja Maha Viharaya. The bus will travel along the highway for about 20-30 minutes before stopping near the temple. After you get off, walk back along Beliatta Road for about 5 minutes, and you will see the temple on your right.
