Start at Matara Railway Station, exit the station and head south on Main Street towards Tangalle Road. Walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the junction with Udapeekwella Road. Turn left onto Udapeekwella Road and continue walking for another 500 meters. You will find Uda Peekwella Temple on your right, marked by its distinct architecture.

If you're near Matara Bus Station, look for buses heading towards Tangalle. Get on any bus that stops at Tangalle Road. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Udapeekwella Road.
