The bus ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Weherahena stop, which is usually well-marked. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 200 meters, and you will see the entrance to the Weherahena Temple on your left.

If you prefer a faster option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Matara. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to 'Weherahena Temple' or show them the name in Sinhala, 'වේහෙරහේන විහාරය'. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right at the temple entrance, making it a convenient option.
