Walking
If you are in the Matara town center, head towards the main road, which is Wilmot Balasuriya Mawatha. From the Matara Bus Station, walk straight and take a left onto Wilmot Balasuriya Mawatha. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. Look for signposts indicating the Old Dutch Market. The market is located at WGXP+52F, which is on your right-hand side. You will see a large archway leading into the market area.

Tuk-Tuk
From any location in Matara, you can easily catch a tuk-tuk. Tell the driver you want to go to Old Dutch Market, located at WGXP+52F, Wilmot Balasuriya Mawatha. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the market.

If you are near a bus stop, you can take a local bus heading towards the Matara Bus Station. Once you arrive at the bus station, you can either walk (as described above) or take a tuk-tuk to Old Dutch Market. Make sure to ask the bus conductor to let you know when you reach the bus station if you are unfamiliar with the area.
