If you are driving, start from the center of Nuwara Eliya. Head northwest on Main Street towards the intersection with Lake Gregory Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Regional Engineering Workshop Road. Turn left onto Regional Engineering Workshop Road and drive for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for the Moon Plains Ticket Counter on your left side, located at coordinates 6.952275, 80.796432. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for a small parking fee, typically around 100 LKR.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach the Moon Plains Ticket Counter via public transportation, head to the main bus station in Nuwara Eliya. Look for buses heading towards Ambewela or Horton Plains. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off near Regional Engineering Workshop Road. Once you get off, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer along the dirt road to reach the Moon Plains Ticket Counter. Make sure to carry some cash for the bus fare, which should be around 50-100 LKR.

For a more convenient option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any point in Nuwara Eliya. Simply tell the driver to take you to the Moon Plains Ticket Counter on Regional Engineering Workshop Road.
