Walking
Start from the center of Nuwara Eliya, near the post office. Head towards the Nuwara Eliya Bus Station located on Main Street. From the bus station, take the road leading towards the Lake Gregory area. Continue walking along the road until you reach the junction at Lake Gregory. At the junction, take a right turn to Baker's Falls Road. Keep walking straight; you will pass through some scenic tea estates and local shops. After about 2.5 km, you will reach the entrance to Horton Plains National Park. The campsite is located within the park and will be visible along the main trail after entering the park. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks, as facilities are limited within the park.

Public Transport - Bus
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, go to the Nuwara Eliya Bus Station. Take a bus heading towards Horton Plains or Ohiya. The buses are frequent, but it's best to check the schedule. From your accommodation in Nuwara Eliya, hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Horton Plains National Park.
