If you're traveling by car from Nuwara Eliya, head southeast on Main Street (A5) towards the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Continue on A5 for about 8 kilometers. You will see signs for Horton Plains National Park. Turn right onto the B1 road, which will lead you directly to the park entrance. There is a parking area available at the entrance, and the entrance fee is approximately 2,500 LKR per person, along with an additional 500 LKR for parking.

To reach Horton Plains via public transportation, go to the Nuwara Eliya bus station. Take a bus heading towards Hakkinda or Ohiya. Buses typically leave every hour, and the fare is about 50 LKR.
