If you are traveling by car, head towards the Horton Plains National Park entrance located on the A7 highway. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee, which is approximately LKR 3,000 for foreign tourists. After entering, follow the main road straight into the park. The Horton Plains Park Office is located approximately 3 km from the entrance, marked by clear signage along the route. Continue on the main road until you reach the office, which is situated on your right. Please note that the park office opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 4:00 PM.

To reach Horton Plains Park Office via public transport, take a bus from Nuwara Eliya to the Horton Plains National Park entrance. The bus ride takes about 30-45 minutes and costs around LKR 100-150.
