If you are driving from the main entrance of Horton Plains National Park, head east on the main road until you reach the junction at your left. Turn left onto the RV53 road. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Udaveriya Estate, which will be on your right. Please note that parking may be limited, so plan accordingly.

To reach Udaveriya Estate using public transportation, start at the Horton Plains National Park entrance. You can take a local bus heading towards Ohiya. Inform the driver that you need to get off at Udaveriya Estate. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the estate. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as the frequency may vary.
