Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Nuwara Eliya, head south on Main Street (also known as A5). Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. As you walk, keep an eye out for the distinctive red-roofed buildings and the beautiful gardens surrounding you. When you reach the intersection with the road leading to Lake Gregory, turn left onto that road. Continue walking for another 500 meters until you see a sign for Nuwara Eliya Golf Club on your right. The entrance to the Golf Club is just a short distance down this road.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From any location in Nuwara Eliya, you can easily find a tuk-tuk by waving one down or asking at your hotel. Tell the driver that you want to go to Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you along Main Street (A5) and then turn left onto the road leading to Lake Gregory. Just ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the Golf Club.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the center of Nuwara Eliya and head south on Main Street (A5). After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with the road to Lake Gregory. Turn left here. Continue cycling for about 500 meters, and you will see the entrance to Nuwara Eliya Golf Club on your right. The route is relatively flat, making it a pleasant ride through the scenic town.
