Walking
Starting from the Polonnaruwa Archaeological Museum, head southeast on the main road. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach the entrance to the ancient city. Enter the archaeological site and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the famous Gal Vihara rock temple on your left. From Gal Vihara, turn right and walk along the path towards the left side of the site. Continue walking for a further 600 meters until you reach the cluster of temples. Siva Devale 05 is located in the northwest area of this cluster, identified by its unique architecture.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from any of the local shops near the Polonnaruwa bus station. Head towards the entrance of the archaeological site, which is about 1 kilometer away. Once inside, cycle straight along the main pathway for about 1 kilometer until you reach Gal Vihara. Turn right at Gal Vihara and keep cycling straight for another 600 meters. Siva Devale 05 will be on your left, situated among the other temples.
