Turn left onto X253 road. Alahana Piriwena - Ancient Bhikku Hospital will be on your right side after about 200 meters. Look for the ruins of the hospital, which are marked by informative signs.

From the Polonnaruwa bus station, rent a bicycle. Head north on the A11 road for approximately 1 kilometer. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the X253 road. Continue straight for about 800 meters, and you will find Alahana Piriwena - Ancient Bhikku Hospital on your left. This route is scenic and allows you to enjoy the surrounding greenery.
