  • Walking

    From Sigiriya, head south towards the main road (A12). Once you reach the A12, turn left and follow the road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the Habarana junction sign. At the junction, you will see a sign that indicates Habarana Lake. Continue straight on the A12 until you reach Habarana town, which is about 5 kilometers from the junction.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle in Sigiriya and head towards the A12 road. Turn left onto A12 and cycle for about 3 kilometers until you reach the Habarana junction. At this junction, continue straight on the A12 for another 5 kilometers. You will arrive in Habarana town, and from there, follow the signs to Habarana Lake, which is just a short distance away from the main road.

    Find a Tuk-Tuk in Sigiriya, which can be easily spotted near the entrance of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Tell the driver you want to go to Habarana Lake.
