Walking
From the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, head south on the main road (Sigiriya Road). Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road heading towards Polonnaruwa. Turn right at this junction onto the Thivanka Pilimage Road. Walk straight for approximately 3 kilometers, following the signs leading to Polonnaruwa. The Thivanka Image House will be on your left side at the address X2H4+FC3, Thivanka Pilimage Rd.
Tuk-Tuk
From any hotel or central location in Sigiriya, you can hire a Tuk-Tuk. Tell the driver that you want to go to Thivanka Image House in Polonnaruwa. The ride will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start the journey. The driver will take the main road (Sigiriya Road) towards Polonnaruwa, and you will arrive directly at the Thivanka Image House, which is located on Thivanka Pilimage Road.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sigiriya. Start by heading south on Sigiriya Road, cycling for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction where you can turn right onto Thivanka Pilimage Road. Continue cycling straight for about 3 kilometers, and you will find the Thivanka Image House on your left. Ensure you wear a helmet and stay cautious of the traffic.
Public Bus
If you want to use public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop on Sigiriya Road. Look for buses heading towards Polonnaruwa. Board the bus and inform the conductor that you want to get off at Thivanka Image House. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Polonnaruwa, disembark and ask locals for directions to the Thivanka Image House, which is located on Thivanka Pilimage Road.
