Getting There

  • Bus

    From Unawatuna, walk to the nearest bus stop. Buses to Deniyaya regularly depart from Galle Bus Station, which is about 4 km from Unawatuna. You can either take a tuk-tuk or walk to the bus station. Once at the Galle Bus Station, look for a bus heading to Deniyaya. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. When you arrive in Deniyaya, ask the bus conductor to let you know when you reach Sinharaja Access Road.

    After reaching Deniyaya by bus, you can hire a tuk-tuk directly from the bus station to Explore Sinharaja Rainforest tours. Show the driver the address 'Sinharaja Access Road, Mederipitiya, Deniyaya'. The tuk-tuk ride will take about 15-20 minutes.
