If you are near T-Centralen, take the Blue Line (Tunnelbana) towards Kungsträdgården. Travel for just one stop and get off at Kungsträdgården station. Once you exit the station, head towards the waterfront. The National Museum is located a short 5-minute walk straight ahead at Södra Blasieholmshamnen 2.

From the nearest bus stop, take bus number 47 or 55 towards Slussen. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Nybroplan.' From Nybroplan, walk towards the waterfront and follow the path to your left along the river. The National Museum is about a 10-minute walk along the water at Södra Blasieholmshamnen 2.

If you are staying in the Gamla Stan (Old Town) area, start at Stortorget square. Walk towards the bridge called Skeppsholmsbron. Cross the bridge, and as you reach the other side, turn right onto Södra Blasieholmshamnen. The National Museum will be directly ahead in about a 15-minute walk.

If you are near Nybroplan, you can take tram number 7 towards Waldemarsudde. Ride for one stop and get off at the stop called 'Bromma.' From there, walk back towards the waterfront. The National Museum is a short walk away at Södra Blasieholmshamnen 2.
