Walking
If you are in the heart of Gamla Stan, start by heading towards the south from Stortorget, the main square. Walk down the narrow streets towards Slottsbacken. Continue straight until you reach the Royal Palace (Kungliga Slottet), which will be on your left. The Royal Armoury (Livrustkammaren) is located just beside the palace at Slottsbacken 3. Look for the entrance on the side facing the palace.

Public Transportation
While walking is the best way to reach The Royal Armoury from anywhere in Gamla Stan, if you are further away, you can take the metro to Gamla Stan station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Stortorget. Follow the previous walking directions from Stortorget to reach The Royal Armoury. Note that a single trip on the metro costs approximately 45 SEK.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride through the streets of Gamla Stan. Simply navigate towards Slottsbacken, and park your bike in designated areas near the Royal Palace. The Royal Armoury is directly adjacent to the palace. Be cautious of pedestrians as Gamla Stan can be quite busy.
