Public Transport - Metro and Bus
Start your journey at T-Centralen, the central metro station in Stockholm. Take the metro line (Tunnelbana) number 20 (the blue line) towards Kungsträdgården. After one stop, change at T-Centralen to the red line (Tunnelbana line number 14) towards Fruängen. Travel for 7 stops and get off at the station called 'Skogås'. From Skogås station, exit and walk to the bus stop 'Skogås station'. Take bus number 834 towards 'Tyresta By'. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop 'Stensjödal'. The entrance to Tyresta National Park will be nearby.

Begin your trip from Stockholm City Terminal or T-Centralen. Take the commuter train (Pendeltåg) towards Nynäshamn. Get off at the 'Handen' station, which is typically about a 20-minute ride. Once you arrive at Handen station, head to the bus terminal and catch bus number 835 towards 'Tyresta By'. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes and disembark at 'Stensjödal'. From there, you can easily walk to the entrance of Tyresta National Park.

Walking and Public Transport
If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can walk to the nearest subway station from your location in Stockholm and take the metro line 18 (the green line) towards Skarpnäck. Get off at 'Skarpnäck' station and then walk towards the bus stop 'Skarpnäck'. From there, take bus number 834 towards 'Tyresta By'. After about 30 minutes, alight at 'Stensjödal'. The entrance to the national park will be a short walk from the bus stop.
