From the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeshore promenade. Walk along the promenade in the direction of the boat pier (Piazza Giuseppe Motta). Once you reach the pier, look for the boat service to Lugano. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk and board the boat. The journey across Lake Maggiore to Lugano offers stunning views and takes approximately 30 minutes.
