Starting from the Ascona waterfront, walk towards the main road (Via della Libertà). Head north on Via della Libertà until you reach the intersection with Via Cittadella. Turn left onto Via Cittadella. Continue straight until you reach Via San Giacomo. Turn right onto Via San Giacomo and continue walking until you reach the junction with Via Carona. Turn left onto Via Carona and follow it until you reach the entrance to the park. Walk through the park, and you will find the Piazza Cinque Vie at the northern end of the park.

If you are at the Ascona Post Office (Ufficio Postale di Ascona), exit the building and head east on Via della Libertà. At the first intersection, turn right onto Via Cittadella. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you see Via San Giacomo. Turn left onto Via San Giacomo and continue until you get to Via Carona. Turn left again onto Via Carona, and follow the road straight into the park. Piazza Cinque Vie will be at the end of the park path on your left.
