Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Lindau, Germany. From Eastern Switzerland, take the A13 motorway towards Sargans, then merge onto the A1 towards St. Gallen. Continue towards the A14 and then follow the signs for Bregenz, crossing the border into Austria. From there, take the A96 towards Lindau. Upon arrival in Lindau, follow the signs to the city center and then to 'Gerberschanze 3'. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

• Train

  To reach Gerberschanze by train, first take a train to Lindau Hauptbahnhof (Lindau Main Station). You can catch a train from various locations in Eastern Switzerland, such as St. Gallen or Chur. Once you arrive at Lindau Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and walk approximately 1.5 km to Gerberschanze. Follow the signs for 'Insel' or use a map application for assistance. The walk should take about 20-25 minutes.

• Bus

  Another public transport option is to take a bus from St. Gallen to Lindau. Check the local bus schedules for the most convenient route. Once you arrive at Lindau, you can either walk to Gerberschanze, which is about 1.5 km away, or take a local bus if available. Be sure to check the bus service times and plan accordingly, as they may vary.

• Combination (Train & Bus)

  For a quicker route, you can take a train to Bregenz, Austria, and then switch to a bus heading to Lindau. After arriving at Lindau, you can walk to Gerberschanze, which is about 1.5 km away from the bus stop. This combination may require checking the schedules for both trains and buses, so it's advisable to plan your trip in advance.
