If you are in the heart of Old Town, start by heading towards the main square, Kapellplatz. From there, locate the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), which is an iconic landmark. Walk across the Chapel Bridge, enjoying the beautiful artwork on the roof. Once you reach the other side, take a right onto Weinmarkt, a charming street filled with shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will find a small square. From this square, head straight onto the road that leads down to the lake. As you approach the lake, you will see the Spreuerbrücke just ahead. It’s a short walk of approximately 10 minutes from Kapellplatz.

If you prefer to take public transport, locate the nearest bus stop, which is usually around the main square. You can take Bus line 1 or 2 from the stop 'Kornmarktplatz.' Make sure to buy a ticket at the ticket machine before boarding, which costs around CHF 2.40 for a single journey within the city. Get off at the stop 'Spreuerbrücke,' and from there, it’s just a short walk to the bridge, taking about 2 minutes.

If you have rented a bike, start from a nearby bike rental location in Old Town. Head towards the lakeside promenade, which is well-marked. Follow the cycling path along the lake until you see signs for Spreuerbrücke. It will take about 5 minutes to bike there from the Old Town area.
