Walking
If you are in the center of Lugano, start at the main square, Piazza della Riforma. From there, head northeast on Via Nassa until you reach the intersection with Via Cattedrale. Turn left onto Via Cattedrale and continue straight. You will pass by several shops and cafés. As you walk, look for signs pointing to the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see the cathedral on your right at Via Borghetto 1.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Lugano train station (Stazione FFS), take bus number 2, which travels towards 'Cassarate'. Get off at the 'Cattedrale' stop, which is the closest stop to the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes. After exiting the bus, walk a short distance down Via Borghetto, and you will find the cathedral on your left.

If you are near the funicular station in Lugano, take the funicular up to the top station at 'Monte Brè'. From the top, enjoy the panoramic views and then walk back down towards the city center. Follow the signs to the city center (Centro) and continue walking downhill. It will take approximately 20 minutes to reach the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence, located at Via Borghetto 1.
